All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (eg average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working for six months or more in 28@Northgate Practice in the last financial year was £51.043  before Tax and National insurance.  This is for 1 full time GP and 3 part-time GP's.

It is important to note that our doctors dedicate far more time than just their clinical days to working at the practice. In current general practice all GPs now have to work extensively during their non clinical days to fulfil their clinical and administrative responsibilities. This explains why most GPs are obliged to work "part time" clinical hours. The pay of GP partners are in fact only awarded for the clinical hours they work and do
