Phone consultations with a doctorMany medication queries and questions about general health and minor illness can be
discussed with your doctor over the phone without the need to come to the Practice. Also, many blood test results (e.g. cholesterol) can be discussed in this way. To book a phone appointment call 01865 311811 or book online.
Advance booking (routine) appointments Most of our doctor appointments can be booked with the doctor of your choice. We are
usually able to offer patients the choice of booking at least one month in advance, if not more. Please note that online bookings can only be made up to three weeks in
advance. To book a routine appointment call 01865 311811 or book online.Same-day booking (urgent) appointments A small number of same-day appointments are available for more urgent problems.
Please note that these are intended for people who are acutely unwell. These appointments can only be booked over the phone and in order to assess the urgency of
your problem you may be asked a few simple questions by the receptionist. College surgeries If you are a student at New College or Hertford College you can see a doctor in college
during term-time, or you can book an appointment at 28 Beaumont Street in the normal way.Emergencies In a real emergency dial 999
for an ambulance. In a less severe emergency call us on 01865 311811 and inform the Receptionist that the problem is urgent. She will
inform the duty Triage doctor who will speak to you as soon as possible. For medical advice outside our opening hours call the Oxford Emergency Medical
