UK residents living in our Practice Area
are welcome to register with us.We hope to offer online registration for NHS patients shortly. In the meantime, simply pop into the surgery to complete a NHS Registration Form and a brief confidential
health questionnaire. We will then offer you the opportunity of a health check with the nurse. We will also give you the details you require to register for our online facilities
such as internet booking and repeat prescription requests.If you are new to the Practice and take regular medication you will also need to book with a doctor to set up your repeat prescriptions. Please
speak to a receptionist when you visit, or call us on 01865 311811 to arrange a suitable appointment.
Oxford University Students Most students studying at Hertford College, New College, and Templeton College are registered when our doctors visit college at the
start of Michaelmas term. If for any reason you miss your registration appointment in college, please visit the surgery to register as soon as possible. Look here for more information for students Overseas Visitors Non-UK residents or Students studying in the UK for less than six months
Non-UK residents are welcome to book an appointment with our doctors and nurses (a fee will apply if you are not entitled to NHS treatment). Call us on +44 (0)1865 311811 for more details.We offer a reduced rate of charges to students studying with many educational programmes and private colleges.
You will need to pay any costs owing at the time of your appointment. We currently can only accept cash payment from overseas visitors. You may be
able to claim fees back from your insurer.The regulations that govern eligibility for NHS treatment are complex and non-UK residents are advised to check whether they are entitled to NHS treatment before travelling

general information for short term visitors from overseas (external site). Students studying in the UK for six months or moreNon-UK residents are entitled to NHS treatment provided they are enrolled for a period of study in the UK for six months or more and register with the Practice as
soon as possible on arrival in the UK. I f you wait until you are ill it may be too late for you to qualify for free NHS treatment. The same conditions apply to accompanying dependants (e.g. children) provided they too will be staying in the UK for 6 months or more.We advise all non-UK residents to

EU/EEA nationals are generally entitled to NHS treatment for new conditions but should obtain a European Health Insurance Card (from your own national
health authority) before leaving home. Without this card you may find it hard to obtain NHS treatment for some health conditions. Emergencies If you need medical care in a real emergency, dial 999
