Dr Sichel studied Modern Languages at Exeter University before Medicine at the Middlesex Hospital where he qualified in 1975.He
has recently retired from his post as Hospital Practitioner at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes Endocrinology and Metabolism, ( a post held from 1984-2007)
. He has a interest in sports medicine and is the Medical Officer to the Oxford University Boat Club. He was also formerly the MO to the Boat Race and the Head of the River Race

Dr Ferguson studied medicine at Girton college, Cambridge, and the Middlesex Hospital, London, where she qualified in 1975.
Previously a paediatric Registrar, she has taken on a lot of the responsibility for child health within the practice. Dr Ferguson is a qualified homeopath (she has BUPA
accreditation for this therapy) as well as a GP, and provides homeopathy to patients. She has been a GP Tutor for five years and teaches first and fifth year medical students. |

Dr Gould qualified in London in 1981, and worked initially as a GP in Crouch End, London for six years, and then worked as a GP in Portsmouth.Dr Gould has worked in Oxford as a GP for the last ten years, and has been at 28 Beaumont Street for two years.
She has a special interest in
Diabetes, Psychiatry, and
Student Health. |

Jane joined the Practice in 2005 and has taken on responsibility for reviewing patients with asthma and chronic airways disease. She is also has a
particular interest in women's health and contraception.She trained as a Registered Nurse at Northwich Park Hospital in 1982. She has worked in A+E and surgical nursing, and trained as a Midwife in 1993.
Before joining the Practice she worked in Hertfordshire as a Practice Nurse. |

Sarah has been with the practice for the
past two years. She is happy to see patients
for a range of problems, including asthma
checks, ear syringing, minor injuries, pill
checks, smears, help to give up smoking and
travel vaccinations. |

Charlotte Robinson leads our admin team and is responsible for much of the administration of the Practice. She types our referral letters, liases
with Hospital departments, and administers Insurance and Medical Reports. |

Jayne Manuell maintains our EMIS system which stores our electronic patient records. She is responsible for maintaining our patient data and
keeping our medical records in good shape. |

We are the College Doctors for New College, Hertford College and Templeton College.Our doctors work as part of an integrated team with the New
College Nurse, Mrs Sandra Wollner and the Hertford College Nurse, Mrs Yo Davies.

The District Nursing team is led by Clare Allen and provides nursing care to patients in their own home. They have a broad range of skills,
including:
- Supporting and advising carers
- Dressings and ulcer care
- Care of bedbound patients
- Continence problems and catheter care
- Care of the dying

Health Visitors provide information, advice and support for mothers and young children.
They will visit new mothers and babies and run a Child Health Clinic for vaccinations and general health care. They have expertise in many problems affecting babies and children, including:
- Breast and bottle feeding advice
- Teething
- Sleep disorders
- Behavioural problems
- Child welfare concerns

Most women should consider taking folic acid
before conception (if possible)
and for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. |
